The main ecosystems on the Earth

The main advantage of renewable energies is that they are clean energies; they don’t pollute our environment. Developing this kind of energies with the subsequent decrease of non-renewable energies will mean the reduction of C02 emissions into the atmosphere.

The enhanced greenhouse effect will decrease; as a result the average planet temperature will not keep on increasing which means good news for our ecosystem.

2º ESO pupils worked on a project about the main ecosystems on the Earth. This video made by the pupils shows an example of it.

The objectives of this Group work, creating a framework of expression and debatt was: to consider the importance of social participation in solving environmental conflicts (negotiations, consensus, etc) and to show the dependence on energy that we have in urban areas, and finally, to identify its uses and to think about its role in our society.
